Portmarnock Golf Links is nestled in a striking arch of coastline and sits on a slim slice of shallow dune land; ten miles from Dublin city. The twenty-seven hole golf links was a victory rout for Arnold Palmer and Sam Snead in the 1960’s Canada Cup and where Phil Mickleson and David Duval triumphantly won the Walker Cup in 1991. It was ranked as the best golf course in Ireland by Golfers Digest in 2014/2015 and is considered by many as a true test of golf.
Portmarnock Golf Links
It is a championship standard golf links course, boasting a driving range, two short-game areas and a putting & chipping green. Guests can also enjoy a bar and two full-service restaurants; The Bradshaw Room & The Dining Room; each with panoramic views of the links.
Royal County Down Golf Club
Royal County Down is situated in one of the most exquisite settings in the Murlough Nature Reserve. The course is 15 miles long and 8 miles wide and has two main links from which to choose; The Championship Links and The Annesley Links. The Championship Links meanders along the shores of Dundrum Bay creating exceptional views from every hole against which there is a stunning milieu of the Mountains of Mourne. These mountains were the inspiration for C S Lewis’s Chronicles of Narnia.
Royal County Down Golf Links
The greens are famous for their ‘bearded’ bunkers that overhang with red fescue and heather and the ninth hole is known as an attractive spot for photographers globally. The course is considered by many to be a fast, challenging and intricate course and the record is 66 which was set by Irish Golfer Jimmy Bruen in 1939. The Annesely Links is a shorter links than the Championship Links but is still a very challenging course with impressive views of the sea, mountains and dune lands. The club offers guests The Murlough Room bar, which has breath-taking views of the Mountains of Mourne and a dining room which offers snacks and meals throughout the day. Royal Portrush Golf Club
The Royal Portrush Golf Club is situated in front of the White Rocks beach and boasts stunning views of the 13th century Dunluce Castle. Royal Portrush offers two of the most challenging 18-hole golf links courses in Ireland; The Dunluce Links & The Valley Links. The links were designed by architect Harry Colt and offer a driving range, pitching green & putting green.

The Portstewart Golf Club was founded in 1894 and is set in Ulster’s famous Causeway Coast and runs along the River Bann. It combines 73 holes over three remarkable courses; The Strand, The Riverside and The Old Course. The course consists of vast sand dunes that are encircled by the splendid views of the bay and the Donegal hills.
