Never in your life will you experience a sight like this. Yesterday took us to Killarney. There is so much to do here it takes a couple of days. The Gap of Dunloe was our first stop. It is a jewel set within the McGillicuddy Reeks in Co. Kerry and also it is the highest mountain range in Ireland. This spectacular valley was sculpted by glacial movements over 2 million years ago. Our wonderful tour began at Kate Kearneys cottage where we were met by our horses and jaunting cars. They carried us through the six mile pass to Lord Brandon’s cottage. Once through the Gap, boats were there waiting on the Gearhameen River for the breathtaking journey of the enchanting scenery of the Lakes Of Killarney and the 15th century Ross Castle. We were in awe.
The hotel we chose for the night was The Killarney Plaza, an amazing luxurious 4 star. The guests rooms were so elegant and the restaurant was more like a 5 Star. We also had the chance to treat ourselves in their equisite Molten Brown Spa.
Another wonderful day to remember :-)
